Olde Yorke Fish & Chips is a well-established, family-owned restaurant with a reputation built on exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and loyal customers. We are looking for a full-time, hands-on Restaurant Manager who shares our passion for the restaurant industry to work alongside the owner in the day-to-day operation of the business.
We are looking for a leader who enjoys being on the floor, supporting the team, interacting with guests, and leading by example. Responsibilities
●Work hands-on alongside the Owner & and other Managers to oversee the daily operations of the dining room and takeout service.
●Lead, coach, and support the front-of-house team.
●Ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience.
●Identify opportunities to improve service and grow the business.
●Maintain and uphold operational standards, policies, and procedures.
●Foster a positive, respectful, and team-focused work environment.
Core Duties
●Manage the day-to-day operation of the dining room and takeout while working alongside the team.
●Lead by example through a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
●Schedule staff efficiently to meet business needs.
●Manage inventory and place stock orders.
●Solve problems quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Build strong professional relationships with staff while motivating and supporting the team.
Qualifications
●Minimum 2 years of management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
●A genuine passion for the restaurant industry, hospitality, food, and guest service.
●Willingness to work hands-on alongside the owner and team every day.
●Available to workdays, evenings, and weekends.
●Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

●Ability to motivate, coach, and inspire others.
●Self-motivated with excellent time management and a keen sense of urgency.
