Wynn's Property Maintenance is now accepting resumes for the upcoming winter season to join our snow removal team looking after commercial and residential properties within Durham region.
Looking for individuals preferably with prior experience in snow plowing and salting, tractor plowing. Applicants must have their own transportation to work when called, and driver abstracts will be required once hired.
Individuals must:
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries during snow removal operations. Maintain awareness of hazards such as hidden obstacles, low-hanging branches, and pedestrian traffic and report any incidents directly to supervisors as soon as they occur.
- Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of snow plows and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to supervisors for prompt resolution.
- Use Google Sheets to follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely and thorough snow removal services for our clients. Coordinate with supervisors to prioritize tasks based on client needs and weather conditions. As well as use Google Sheets to keep accurate records of work performed, including hours worked, routes covered, materials used, and any incidents or observations. (Training for Google Sheets can be provided if needed)
The position is for 24/7 on-call throughout the winter months between November 1st to April 15th. Candidates should be able to remain flexible and responsive to changing weather conditions, work schedules, and client priorities. Be prepared to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed during snow events.
We are a year round company, so there are possible opportunities for summer work as well.
All candidates seeking an equipment operator position must have previous snow removal experience.

Pay is hourly ($21-30/hr) Compensation based on previous experience, position and negotiated at job offer.
