We are looking for experienced Asbestos Workers who are fully certified, properly equipped, and ready to start work immediately. Candidates who do not meet the mandatory requirements will not be considered.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS (NO EXCEPTIONS)
You MUST have:
- Valid Asbestos Abatement Certification (Not expired)
- Valid Fit Test Card (Current and not expired)
- Your own properly fitted respirator/mask
- Full PPE, including all required safety gear for asbestos work
- Ability to follow all Alberta OH&S regulations and safe work procedures
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site
- Excellent attendance and reliability
Applications without the required certifications and equipment will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Perform asbestos abatement and removal in accordance with all safety regulations
- Set up and maintain containment areas
- Wear and properly maintain all required PPE and respiratory protection
- Follow decontamination procedures at all times
- Safely handle, remove, and dispose of asbestos-containing materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to all site safety requirements
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to perform demanding work while wearing full PPE and respiratory protection
- Strong understanding of asbestos safety procedures and containment practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
