Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Inspector to ensure our guest rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this vital role, you will inspect guest rooms and public areas, verify cleanliness and maintenance quality, and uphold our commitment to exceptional hospitality. Your keen eye for detail and passion for cleanliness will help create a welcoming environment that delights our guests.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms and suites to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to hotel standards
- Verify that all amenities, linens, and supplies are properly stocked and in good condition
- Identify areas needing cleaning or maintenance attention and communicate with housekeeping staff for prompt resolution
- Document inspection results accurately and report any damages or deficiencies to management
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all inspections
- Assist in training new housekeeping team members on inspection procedures and standards
- Support overall hotel cleanliness initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments, preferably within hotels or similar settings
- Strong attention to detail with excellent observational skills
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, industrial cleaning equipment, and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of quality
- Good communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with team members
- Prior hotel experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
