Levitt-Safety is looking for an experienced CFAA Fire Alarm Supervisor to lead field operations across Northern Ontario. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for a senior technician who enjoys solving complex technical problems while supporting and guiding a team in the field.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality installation, service, commissioning, and troubleshooting of commercial and industrial fire alarm systems, while helping develop the next generation of technicians.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support installation, programming, commissioning, and service of fire alarm systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in the field
- Act as the on-site technical lead for projects and service work
- Support systems that may include integrated suppression and special hazard applications
- Verify system functionality, cause-and-effect logic, and overall system performance
- Supervise, mentor, and support fire alarm technicians in the field
- Coordinate day-to-day field activities, scheduling, and job execution
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards
- Complete and review service documentation, reports, and deficiency lists
What We’re Looking For
- CFAA certified
- 5+ years of experience in fire alarm installation, service, or commissioning
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience mentoring or leading technicians (formally or informally)
- Solid understanding of fire alarm systems and integrated life safety systems
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (e.g., ULC, NFPA)
- Experience with special hazards or releasing systems is an asset
- Comfortable working in industrial and field environments, including travel across Northern Ontario
