We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Guards to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining a safe environment for our clients and supporting our commitment to community safety. The position is based offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team of security professionals.
Operating in a retail environment you will be working in line with Undercover Loss Prevention Officers.
- Monitor premises through surveillance systems and patrols to prevent theft and ensure safety.
- Engage with shoplifters or suspicious individuals using non-confrontational techniques.
- Conduct regular security checks and maintain detailed incident reports.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies.
- Qualifications
- Valid B.C. Security Licence.
- Valid Driver's Licence.
- Fluency in English, both reading, writing, and speaking.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong observational, communication, and tactical skills.
- Willingness to work days, evenings, and weekends.
- Prior experience in law enforcement or surveillance is a plus.
- Licensed security guards are encouraged to apply.
