Ice Facility Operator and Arena Maintenance - full-time

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to support of our operations department.

Duties & Responsibilities
· Assist with the preparation and maintenance of our Ice Rinks
· Repair of all machinery
· Perform routine preventive maintenance of boilers, general equipment such as plumbing, electrical and refrigeration, and the physical structure of the Club.
Requirements & Qualifications
· Applicants must have strong mechanical aptitude
· Must be capable of working independently and also willing to work as part of a team
· The ideal candidate will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills
· A recreational facility or hospitality industry background.
· Requirements include: 2 years’ Arena Ice experience, Level I Ice Technician plus ‘Ice Facility Operator (IFO)’ (Would be an asset)
· Ideally applicants will have Certification in Power Engineering or be willing to attain.
· Experience in pool maintenance, water chemistry and power tools, and an electrical and plumbing background an asset.
