Kingston Heart Clinic is a well-established, full-service cardiology outpatient clinic in the heart of Kingston. We are currently looking for a full-time Registered Cardiovascular Technologist to join our medical team, support our patients, and clinic flow. Responsibilities
· Perform ECG´s, Holter Monitors hook up and scanning, nuclear testing, and exercise testing and general cardiology-related duties
· Current BCLS certification required, ACLS (we can certify if necessary)
· Comprehension of cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias and ECG´s.
· Demonstrates tact, diplomacy and confidentiality
· Self-directed and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
Requirements:
· Graduate of accredited program in Cardiovascular Technologist
· Current registration or eligible for registration within one year of hire with the Canadian Society of Cardiovascular Technologist
· Positive attitude and an excellent work ethic
· Ability to work effectively as a collaborative member of the critical care team
· Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
· Previous clinical experience is an asset, but not a requirement
