Our current staff is focused on machine design projects including mechanical design, controls system design, information systems and project management. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Own the quality of the overall design, general assembly and other key deliverables
- Reviews all designs for accuracy, thoroughness and adherence to aligned scope
- Responsible for assembly and detail drawings for entire project/machine
- Participates in design reviews and prepares review material
- Effectively communicates with customer(s) to resolve open items or technical questions
- Attends and inputs to technical meetings and discusses as defined in the execution plan/schedule
- Generates conceptual layouts through front end and definition phases
- Utilizes a fundamental understanding of dimensioning parts
- Generates Bill of Material (BOM) for the assembly drawing
- Ability to use 3D and 2D software effectively
- Performs detail design for machine components
- Create installation workplans
- Supervise installations with trades
- Other duties as assigned

- Canadian Passport Required
Education and/or Experience:
- Mechanical Engineering Technologist diploma
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and one of the following 3D design software platforms: Solid Edge or Solid Works
- At least 5 years of professional experience after completion of education
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Individual must possess the interpersonal skills to communicate with coworkers and/or customers at all levels of the organization and present data to diverse audiences
