 Experienced Roofing/Construction Estimator
 
Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Must have extensive knowledge within the construction industry</li>
<li>At least 5-year experience in blue print reading and take-offs.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, written and verbal.</li>
<li>Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)</li>
<li>Knowledge of Bluebeam software is an asset</li>
<li>Ability to multi task, time management skill, keen attention to detail</li>
</ul>
Duties include but not limited to: 
<ul>
<li>Attend pre-bid meetings</li>
<li>Review plans, specifications, drawings to determine the scope of work</li>
<li>Perform take-offs, prepare labour, material and equipment costs</li>
<li>Prepare and submit quotations/tender form with all the required</li>
</ul>
documentation
 
<ul>
<li>Provide Construction Schedule and Schedule of Values</li>
<li>Assisting with project scheduling and costing and liaising with clients and trades</li>
<li>Pro-actively searching for projects to bid</li>
</ul>
