As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various printing and manufacturing presses, ensuring high-quality output and efficient workflow. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial presses and machinery with precision, adhering to safety protocols and operational guidelines
- Monitor machine performance during production runs, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal functioning
- Assist with material handling, including loading raw materials and packaging finished products efficiently
- Utilize forklift equipment safely for moving heavy materials within the warehouse or production area
- Maintain accurate production records, documenting machine settings, downtime, and quality checks
- Support troubleshooting efforts by identifying mechanical issues and communicating needs for repairs or maintenance
- Follow safety procedures diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Collaborate with team members across departments to meet production deadlines and quality expectations
Experience:
- Prior experience operating manufacturing presses or similar machinery in a fast-paced environment
- Warehouse experience w
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including packaging and machining operations
- Understanding of safety standards within a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
