Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Vice Principal to join our educational leadership team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive school environment, supporting instructional excellence, and ensuring the effective management of school operations. Duties
- Assist the Director in developing and implementing school policies, goals, and programs that promote academic excellence and student well-being.
- Support teachers and staff through coaching, mentoring, and professional development initiatives.
- Oversee daily school operations to ensure a safe, productive learning environment.
- Lead efforts in student guidance, attendance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
- Manage budgeting activities, including resource allocation and prep time planning to optimize school resources.
- Coordinate with parents, community members, and external agencies to foster partnerships that benefit students.
- Participate in hiring processes and contribute to staff evaluations.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular activities and special events.
- Ensure compliance with BC Community Care and Assisted Living Act and Child Care Licensing Regulation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing with a strong background in educational leadership.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage students effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Well-versed with Health Safety, Food Safety, and WCB norms
Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
