Job Summary: The Partner Marketing Manager for Canada is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of Reseller marketing plans, including Bell Canada, in support of driving brand preference with partner sellers and driving demand generation.
The Partner Marketing Manager reports directly to the Senior Director of Americas Partner Marketing but is an extended team member of the Canadian Partner Sales teams at Equinix. The role will work alongside a talented group of partner marketers who are consistently recognized for their marketing excellence and demonstration of Equinix values.
Marketing Strategy & Plan: In collaboration with key resellers, including Bell Canada, develop a strong marketing strategy in support of country objectives.
Marketing Execution: Develop and execute joint marketing plans with partners that integrate online, offline and social media activities with sales programs to maximize marketing effectiveness. Optimize execution on every activity for maximum ROI.
Liaise with HQ team: Work closely with the US based Alliances & Reseller teams to repurpose existing programs, content and plans and bring the most relevant ones to Canada.
Marketing Mix: Test and try new marketing tactics that drive preference with sellers and drive demand generation with end users including tactics such as social, digital, brand, PR, and videos.
Content: Localize existing content for regional use; create new content with partners including Joint Value Propositions, Sales Enablement & Customer content.
Align with Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with local Partner Sales & Technical team members to understand their account objectives and align on marketing activities.
Budget Management: Manage marketing funds and budget.
Reporting: Track and report on activities on a quarterly basis including results, budget, leads and bookings.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration preferred.
Experience with Channel Partners is a must; existing knowledge of Bell Canada and other key Canadian partners is a bonus.

Marketing Execution: Track history of executing mix of marketing activities with Alliance & Reseller Partners such as: Enablement and Demand Gen Webinars, LinkedIn campaigns, Content Syndication, Highly targeted customer events, Thought Leadership campaigns.
Great at relationship building: With lots of cross functional stakeholders to engage with, strengths in proactively building relationships is a must.
Content Creation: Accomplished in developing and authoring joint value propositions and corresponding assets such as solution briefs, sales pitch decks, infographics, social content. Know how to leverage available SMEs and resources.
Tenure: 7+ Years marketing experience in a high technology company.
Effective Communicator and Collaborator: Strong in working in matrix environments; quickly builds trust with remote teams and works to ensure others’ success.
Work Style: Self-starter, leads and facilitates management of details needed to accomplish tasks; simultaneous management of several programs and initiatives.
Creativity: Ideal candidate is known as a creative marketer and a highly effective communicator. Candidate will demonstrate previous experience with executing creative demand/lead generation and awareness marketing campaigns.
