As a Lube Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the performance of vehicles by performing routine oil changes and other essential services. Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and lubrication services on various types of vehicles.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete maintenance tasks.
- Conduct inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required during vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Experience
- Previous experience in automotive repair or a related field is preferred, particularly in a dealership setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic vehicle issues.
- Familiarity with sales techniques is a plus, as you may be required to recommend additional services to customers.
- Excellent customer service skills, ensuring positive interactions with clients at all times.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be comfortable with heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with vehicle maintenance.
