Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Escape Room Game Master to join our team for full time work. This dynamic role involves guiding guests through immersive escape experiences, ensuring they have a fun, memorable, and seamless adventure. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and a knack for creating an exciting environment for all ages. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while managing the flow of the game experience.
Duties
- Welcome guests upon arrival and explain game rules clearly and enthusiastically
- Monitor gameplay to ensure safety and adherence to guidelines
- Provide hints or assistance when guests request help during the escape experience
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the escape room areas before and after each session
- Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and walk-ins with professionalism and friendliness
- Manage cash handling transactions accurately during check-in or merchandise sales
- Assist with guest services such as food or beverage orders if applicable
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed and report any issues promptly
- Engage with guests to create a fun and memorable experience, fostering repeat visits
- Other tasks that may come day to day
Experience
- Prior experience working with People is preferred but not required
- Strong public speaking skills to effectively communicate instructions and engage guests
- Background in customer service or guest services to ensure positive interactions
- Experience in cash handling is advantageous
- Hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to create welcoming environments
- Previous roles involving public interaction or entertainment will be considered an asset
