Position Summary (6 MONTH CONTRACT):
The Marketing Strategist will be responsible for copywriting SpiderTech’s social media ads in order to ultimately increase our online presence and to drive sales. You will craft compelling short and long copy for ads, blogs, social media content, articles and branding materials. This role involves managing social media channels as well as content creation for various outlets, email marketing campaigns and synchronizing the web landing page with ads. Responsibilities:
- Copywrite ads, and craft social media content, including taglines, brand messaging and marketing material.
- Partner with graphic designers to conceptualize concise, eye-catching, and creative social media posts that engages audience on various social platforms – mainly Facebook and Instagram and other platforms as needed.
- Maintain and ensure consistency in brand voice while adapting to different social media platforms.
- Consistently brainstorm new ideas and strategies to generate sales and volume in social media ads.
- Utilize monitoring tools and web analytics to track performance of social media content and campaigns.
- Oversee website content management, update web landing page and synchronize the page with ads.
- Prepare content calendars.
- Develop and execute email marketing strategies to drive sales.
- Manage digital email marketing campaigns across various platforms approximately four times a week.
- Develop campaign reports, analyze the results, and refine the social media strategy to drive sales.
- Keep up to date with trending topics and adapt to social media strategy to boost social media traffic.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and tone consistency across all platforms.
- Get hands on, promote SpiderTech’s products online and push the limits!
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Management or Marketing or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 2-3 years of work experience in a related capacity (content writing, copywriting, social media community management, journalism)
- Excellent copywriting/caption writing/blog writing skills + writing experience.
- Social media platform experience, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and YouTube for posting, engagement, boosting and reporting.
- Creativity and Adaptability.
- Immaculate attention to detail and grammar.
- Have a genuine passion for Social Media and Content Creation!
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Some travel may be required within the GTA for events.
