Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain Hvac systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise installations
- Perform maintenance tasks on HVAC systems as needed
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate project progress
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning
- Assemble ducting systems using appropriate techniques
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Inspect work sites for compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Troubleshoot issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify solutions quickly
Requirements
- Valid Journeyperson hvac certification or minimum 2 years experience.
- Proven experience in hvac installation, repair, and maintenance within construction environments.
- Proficiency with hand tools, and power tools.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy lifting, construction sites, and sheet metal work.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installation or repairs.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or working in confined spaces.
- Perform Hvac installations, repairs, and maintenance for residential and commercial projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions.
- Work independently and as part of a team on construction and service jobs.
