Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Shop Mechanic to join our team in Woodstock. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of our shop, contributing significantly to our mission of providing top-notch excavation services.
Responsibilities
- Manage and track all vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Implement maintenance schedules for equipment.
- Can also help serve as a morning supervisor to ensure all trucks are operational, prepared for daily routes, and dispatched on schedule.
- Help conduct thorough inspections of trucks prior to departure to verify that all equipment is on board.
- Manage shop inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience and/or certification as a mechanic, preferably 310T.
- Experience with Excel.
- Knowledge of safety regulations in the transportation/excavation industry is preferred.
- Ability to work alone, prioritize tasks and fulfill deadlines.
- 310T License preferred
Starting wage will be determined based on experience.
