Izumiya - #160-7971 Alderbridge Way, Richmond, BC
We are looking for positive, motivated people with an interest in Japanese food to prepare rice, prepare and pack sushi and help with food prep.
Must be available for 2 weekday shifts between: 7:00am - 1:00pm. Additional shifts possible in future.
After initial training and a 1 month trial period, applicant's performance and salary will be reviewed.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year's continuous work experience is required
- Previous kitchen experience is required
- Knife skills
- Duties include: stocking, receiving (must be able to lift a 40 lb bag of rice)
- Knowledge of or interest in Japanese food is required.
- Outgoing personality, strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail.
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Clear verbal communication
- Ability to multi-task
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 21 per week
