Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire students. Students age range from 6-14 years old. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student learning objectives.
- Facilitate interactive and engaging classroom activities that promote student participation and critical thinking.
- Assess student progress through various evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, collaboration, and inclusivity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and share resources.
- Stay updated on educational best practices, trends, and technologies to continuously improve teaching effectiveness.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and administration regarding student performance and classroom activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Previous teaching or instructional experience is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with students and parents effectively.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and tools to enhance learning experiences.
- A passion for education and a commitment to fostering student success in a supportive environment.
