ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Sales Coordinator, you will be a key factor to success for the Sales team and the primary contact between Groups, Affiliates and local Travel Trade clients looking to experience FlyOver Canada. This position requires strong communication, organizational and cross functional skills, initiative, problem solving skills as well as understanding key systems to book large Groups. This position also requires staying up to date on current procedures, events and any other relevant information to provide the correct information to inquiring guests and team members. By representing a popular attraction in Vancouver, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for creating a cohesive, fluid environment for fellow team members and guests alike. The Sales Coordinator should always strive to represent both FlyOver Canada as well as Vancouver in a positive attitude.
The salary range for this position is $40,000-$50,000 CAD annually based on experience and expertise, a fullbreakdown of benefits and perks will be provided during the interview process.

WHAT WILL YOU DO
Support the Sales Manager by providing contracts to clients and following through to completion which includes but is not limited to; collecting deposits, confirming group details, sending invoices, taking payments, processing refunds, making changes and answering any questions from clients.
Work closely with the Sales team on key accounts.
Work with Sales, I.T. and Revenue Maximization teams to create products in RTP.
Participate in idea generation for sales activities and way to increase sales for the regional & local travel trade teams.
Respond to leads by phone and email and/or distribute to the Sales Manager.
Work closely with the Operations team to ensure important information is communicated in advance of a group arrival.
Using Delphi, Pursuit Collection’s CRM, record all client information and interactions, group agreements, forecast and pick up reports, month end, private event details, BEOs, and revenue.
Complete reservations for familiarization and complimentary ticket requests.
Attend community and tourism industry events on behalf of FOCV.
Conduct familiarization (FAM) tours for clients as assigned.
Assist with and completing other administrative tasks as needed.
Acts as a support contact in the absence of Sales Managers for Pursuit colleagues and clients.
Create and maintain accurate and up to date customer profiles in RTP
IDEAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Experience working in sales, marketing, or events, preferably in hospitality, restaurants, theaters, hotels, theme parks or resort environments.
Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
Internally motivated, good problem-solving ability and high attention to detail.
Consistent outstanding guest service skills.
Ability to work effectively both in a team as well as independently in a fast-paced team environment.
Solid competency in MS Office tools including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint; Work with MS Chat, MS Teams a plus.
Knowledge of Salesforce, Delphi.fdc (CRM) is strongly preferred.
Extensive knowledge about Vancouver and local area an asset.
Availability to work a variety of shifts including, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Be prepared – this role requires legal ability to work in Canada.
