Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing fresh sandwiches, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and sanitized environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to Subway standards, ensuring quality and freshness
- Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections, upselling additional items when appropriate
- Operate the Micros POS system for order processing and cash handling accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change using basic math skills
- Restock supplies as needed and ensure all ingredients are stored properly
- Follow all food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues professionally
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Kitchen or food preparation experience is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy hours
- Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset
