Project Coordinator – Supervision


In order to support the growth of our firm and enhance our well-known expertise in Buildings, CIMA+ is currently seeking a Senior Construction Project Coordinator to join our Supervision team.

The primary responsibility of the Project Supervision Coordinator will be to manage the construction site from the office and the site, to represent the Project Supervision team in dealing with the contractor and the client, and to work closely with the Project Manager and the electrical and mechanical design teams, as required.


Take charge of all coordination and monitoring functions for a variety of construction projects
Take part in site meetings and communicate in an effective manner with the contractor, the client and the Project Engineer, if necessary, in order to manage and resolve construction-related problems, requests for changes and construction site conditions.
Respond to technical questions from the contractor and the client
Develop technical solutions and estimate the related costs, and take part in design activities in order to issue notices of change
Work closely with suppliers to ensure the relevance of and verify the contractor’s technical choices
Verify shop drawings, working with the designer, as required
Conduct site visits and prepare inspection reports
Meticulously and effectively coordinate construction work with the contractor, the Supervision team and the various stakeholders involved in the project
Monitor the progress of the project, resolve delays / issues and keep the Project Manager informed
Ensure that the work is executed in compliance with the drawings and specifications, and provide technical support for all requests for changes
Evaluate the costs of work submitted by the contractor when directives are issued


Technical or Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 8 years of experience in coordination of construction sites in Building Mechanics and Electrical Systems
In-depth understanding of project management and the related tools, and solid mastery of the associated techniques
ASP Construction course
Familiarity with engineering (drawings and specifications, norms and standards, etc.)
Ability to execute work while attaining cost, quality and scheduling objectives
Effective communication skills
