The Winnipeg Football Club is looking for stadium housekeeping staff for the 2019 season: March - November 2019.

Salary/Rate: $12.50/hour

Criminal record check required prior to employment.

Must be available for Winnipeg Blue Bomber football games as well as Valour FC soccer games.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform daily housekeeping duties including offices, locker rooms, banquet rooms and various areas throughout the facility (interior and exterior)
  • Ensure checklists are followed and completed to ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness
  • Perform daily recycling/trash collection
  • Daily wiping, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping
  • Preparing the facility for major/minor events – Bomber games, concerts etc.
  • Cleaning the facility during events
  • Adhere to high standards of cleanliness
  • Maintain/clean all housekeeping equipment/tools
  • Other projects as necessary

  • Prior experience with housekeeping preferred
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Physical ability to meet the position demands - must be able to climb ladders, carry, walk, sit, bend, push, pull and move continuously while working
  • Must be an honest, detailed orientated, dependable person with an excellent attendance record.

  • Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English

  • Ability to work a highly variable schedule including daytime, evenings, overnight, weekends and some holidays based on event schedules
