Sisterhood Talkshow is a faith-based media platform focused on transformational conversations, leadership, storytelling and impactful productions. --- # POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced **Publishing & Editorial Manager** to oversee editorial standards, book development processes and publishing operations at Bethel Publishing House Canada. The successful candidate will manage editorial workflows, coordinate editors and publishing teams, support authors, work closely with the Founder & Group CEO on key content, and ensure books move successfully from manuscript development through production, distribution and promotion. This role requires someone with strong publishing knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple book projects simultaneously. --- # KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ## Editorial Leadership & Quality Control * Oversee editors, proofreaders and editorial processes. * Establish and maintain Bethel Publishing House editorial standards. * Review manuscripts and provide editorial recommendations. * Work closely with the Founder & Group CEO on selected manuscripts, written materials and important content. * Review and approve written content before publication where required. * Prepare or recommend book excerpts, quotes and written materials for promotional use. --- ## Book Publishing & Production Management Coordinate the complete publishing process, including: * Manuscript review and development. * Editing and proofreading. * Cover design collaboration. * Book formatting coordination. * Final publishing preparation. * Printing coordination. * Book production timelines. --- ## Distribution & E-Commerce Coordination Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure books are prepared for the market, including: * Uploading books to approved e-commerce platforms. * Coordinating Amazon and digital publishing requirements. * Working with printing companies. * Coordinating with bookstores and distribution partners. * Monitoring book availability and publishing readiness. --- ## Project Coordination Work closely with the Project Coordinator and Operations Manager to: * Track publishing deadlines. * Monitor progress of assigned book projects. * Ensure deliverables are completed on time. * Identify challenges and recommend solutions. * Maintain accurate publishing records. --- ## Author & Team Collaboration Coordinate with: * Authors. * Editors. * Designers. * Web Developers. * Marketing teams. * Printers. * Distribution partners. Ensure professional communication and a high-quality publishing experience. --- ## Marketing Content Support Support the preparation of: * Book descriptions. * Author profiles. * Promotional excerpts. * Book quotes. * Editorial content for online platforms. --- # FIRST THREE-MONTH PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES During the trial period, the successful candidate will be expected to: * Establish effective editorial workflows. * Review and support updates of existing Bethel publications. * Support completion of priority publishing projects. * Coordinate editorial, production and distribution activities. * Ensure books are professionally prepared for publishing platforms and sales channels. * Provide regular progress reports to leadership. --- # REQUIREMENTS Applicants must have: * Bachelor’s Degree in Publishing, English, Literature, Communications, Media, Creative Arts or related field. * Minimum three (3) years’ experience in publishing, editorial management, book production or related creative industries. * Strong understanding of: * Book editing processes. * Publishing workflows. * Printing. * Digital publishing platforms. * Book distribution. * Content development.
