This position is ideal for an individual who excels in client engagement, stays updated on provincial cannabis frameworks, and enjoys a high-energy brick-and-mortar environment. Because this position involves logistics and distribution duties candidates must have Active Ontario G-Class driver's license alongside unrestricted access to a personal vehicle.
The Role in Brief
Your mission as a Cannabis Associate is to guide guests through their retail journey, provide accurate botanical education, uphold strict provincial compliance standards, and drive daily operational success.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Cultivate professional shopping experiences by assisting patrons with product selection and general inquiries.
- Deliver factual information regarding product formats and retail safety standards.
- Execute mandatory age verification protocols by validating government photo ID under AGCO guidelines.
- Process sales, manage transactions, and operate digital checkout counters with high precision.
- Package and execute vehicle deliveries and curbside fulfillment workflows using a personal vehicle and valid G license.
- Handle merchandising layouts, front-face stock shelves, and manage inventory rotation.
- Keep the sales floor immaculate, organized, and aligned with visual display guides.
- Maintain a deep mastery of incoming brand drops, local vendor promos, and updated legal compliance mandates.
- Participate in physical inventory counts, discrepancy tracking, and back-of-house storage auditing.
- Conduct secure opening checklists, nightly register reconciliations, and lock-up security routines.
- Foster a cooperative work environment to optimize shift handoffs and floor flow.
Candidate Qualifications
- Legal minimum age of 19 or older.
- Active Ontario G-Class driver's license alongside unrestricted access to a personal vehicle.
- Valid CannSell certificate (obtained ahead of your official onboarding date).
- Prior background handling customer-facing roles in boutique retail, guest relations, or the food/beverage sector is ideal.
- Solid foundational awareness of the legal parameters of the Cannabis License Act.
- Top-tier interpersonal communication habits with an approachable, accommodating demeanor.
- Open availability to work fluctuating shifts, including late nights, weekend blocks, and statutory holidays.
- Highly comfortable adopting new software, modern point-of-sale systems, and electronic payment terminals.
- Punctual, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in a close-knit group setting.

Shift FlexibilityThe weekly schedule spans variable hours across standard weekdays, evenings, weekend rotations, holidays, and extended shifts when necessary.
