The ideal candidate will be capable of heavy lifting, and executing precise repairs and installations. Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform carpentry, repairs, and installations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution.
- Conduct caulking, sealing, and weatherproofing tasks to maintain building integrity.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently.
- Assist with construction projects, including framing, drywall installation, and finishing work.
- Conduct routine maintenance and handyman services across various sites.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet quality standards.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or handyman work is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools required.
- Experience with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings is advantageous.
- Knowledge of caulking techniques and weatherproofing methods is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in physically demanding environments.
- Previous experience in construction or related fields will be considered an asset for success in this role.
