Warehouse / Yard Labourer
Overview
McDougall Auctioneers is seeking a dedicated, versatile team member for a Warehouse / Yard Labourer at our Nisku, Alberta location. This role encompasses a variety of tasks including on-site auction operations, off-site setups, and customer service. As an integral part of our mission to deliver exceptional asset auctions, appraisals, and consulting services, this role requires a high degree of attention to detail, teamwork, and adaptability.
Job Description:
Work under the supervision of the Supervisor to coordinate auction setup and operations.
Load and unload trucks and other vehicles.
Operate a Skid Steer, electric forklift, and large outdoor forklift.
Execute off-site lotting, picturing, setups, organizing, and uploading pictures onto the computer.
Write lot descriptions and show customers sale items on viewing days and post-sale.
Maintain high attention to detail in all work and use proper material handling techniques.
Assist with cashier duties as needed, utilizing basic computer skills.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and Criminal Record Check required.
Must be fluent in English.
Must be available to work overtime and weekends as requested.
Ability to travel within the province and for offsite work.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Basic computer knowledge is required.
Experience operating skid steer, forklift, or other equipment is an asset.
Steel-toed safety boots.
Salary and Benefits:
Full-time, Monday – Friday with some evenings
Hourly: $20 - $25 per hour
