Who are we searching for?
We currently have an opening for a full-time Site Manager C4-C6 (7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) to join our busy and growing team!
Job Duties:
- Ensure that team members are following site procedures and policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for all staff
- Report all equipment damage, malfunctions, or safety hazards
- Ensure housekeeping inspections and standards are met
- Ensure monthly inspections are completed in a timely manner, all items are communicated to the appropriate person to resolve any issues
- Ensure that adequate supplies are readily available, and cabinet is well stocked
- Manage staff to effectively meet service demands and ensure staff efficiency with daily tasks
- Communicate with team members on priority tasks, project planning, Maintenance requests, Health & Safety policies and Customer requests
- Train team members/new hires
- Ensure new hires receive proper training, site tour and orientations
- Assist with conflict resolution that may arise between team members and/or customers
- Ensure that when tasks are assigned, they are completed and done correctly in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist in reaching monthly revenue targets
- Ensure billable projects are accurately tracked and reported for invoicing
- Submit all daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Operations Manager
- Assist CSR teams with customer communications as needed
- Key Holder and site security responsibilities inside/outside of normal working hours
Shipping and Receiving:
- Matching BOL to physical shipment, checking pick accuracy
- Ensure TDG regulations are followed for all shipments as needed
- Ensure team members are following company policies and procedures for safe loading, offloading and storage as per FSM standards
- Read and understand BOL’s
- Train team members on internal WMS and TMS systems
Warehousing Duties:
- Ensuring physical inventory is accurate, assist in performing random audits on inventory
- Manage space requirements for all customers, proactively plan needs and communicate to teams as required
- Ensure customers safe storage of all products
- Audit invoicing accuracy for PPD storage
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse by performing inspections and implementing the established housekeeping initiatives
- Ensure that AWSA Protocols are followed
- Ensure FIFO standards are being used
- Ensure that Contamination Prevention practices are being adhered to
Maintenance:
- Ensure that all equipment is kept in a safe operating manner
- Ensure general upkeep and maintenance of site (inside/outside)
- Ensure equipment is clean and well maintained
Requirements:
- Three (3) to Five (5) years’ managerial/supervisory experience required with preference given to experience in a warehouse/distribution setting
- Five (5) years counterbalance forklift experience is required
- Crossdocking experience would be considered an asset
- Completion of high school is required
- Flexibility and adaptability to constantly changing situations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Knowledge of First Aid and CPR
- Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Good organizational skills, Time management and multi-tasking
- Critical eye for identifying defects
- Strong knowledge of AWSA, ISO and TDG regulations, Health & safety Policies and Contamination Prevention Practices
- Strong knowledge of Warehousing and Distribution practices
Work Conditions:
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Travel may be required
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility in hours to cover emergency situations
- Must be available for call ins as required
