Norfort Gymnastics Association is currently looking to hire a full time Cheerleading Coordinator and Coach for our Competitive & Recreational Cheerleading Program. Our Club is continuing to grow in our beautiful new facility and we are looking for a passionate skilled coach to join our supportive Team.
Start date: Immediately or, as soon as possible.
Terms of Employment:
A 30 hour/week - mostly consisting of afternoons, evenings, weekends and special events. Needs to be familiar with concepts, procedures and All-Star Cheerleading technical knowledge. Candidates must be able to demonstrate they have coached cheerleading through progressions of the All Star Cheerleading levels 1-6. Candidate must be willing to travel for weekend competitions. Minimum credentials of level 4 International Cheer Union Certification or willing to obtain.

Basic Administrative Skills (Daily email communications, program planning, etc.)
Organized, reliable, with effective communication skills.
Has an eye for detail
Strong problem solving skills in a fluid environment
Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
Plans, develops and implements an effective programs for the recreational and competitive programs offered to prepare athletes both physically and mentally to participate with confidence and self-assurance in cheerleading competitions.
Prepares and conducts practice sessions that are both stimulating and instructive. Practices will teach basic fundamental sport skills, as well as emphasize and promote good sportsmanship to the conduct of team members and coaches.
Communication effectively, positively and professionally with athletes, parents, officials and school administrators.
