The Position:
The Process Engineer-in-Training will be responsible for creating Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), generating standard operating procedures (SOPs), and collaborating with our operations and service teams. This role is ideal for individuals with 0-3 years of experience who have a strong mechanical aptitude, positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Create and update P&IDs and manufacturing drawings for customer and R&D projects under the supervision of the Chief Engineer.

Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry codes and standards and company guidelines.

Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to incorporate changes and updates.

Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for equipment and internal processes.

Work closely with operations and service teams to understand process requirements and challenges.

Provide engineering support and troubleshooting assistance for operational issues.

Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.

Contribute to the development of training materials and programs for operations staff.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

0-3 years of experience in process engineering or a related role.
- Relevant certifications or coursework is a plus.

Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Visio).

Eligible for registration with APEGA within 4 years.
