Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic food service environment, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Duties
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with food handling, plating, and presentation to ensure quality and consistency
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing guest needs
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash register operations and process transactions accurately
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory management as needed
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
- Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient and friendly service during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, food industry, or hospitality setting is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to serve in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food preparation or barista skills is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if required
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
