Summary
We are seeking a Class 1 Dump Truck Driver to join our team in Canada. Based in Spallumcheen (Armstrong BC), this role is vital for transporting materials to support our asphalt paving projects and ensure timely delivery across diverse sites.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently to transport asphalt, gravel, and other materials.
- Haul Equipment on Trailer when necessary
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and report any mechanical issues.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations during operations.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of transportation activities.
- Collaborate with the construction team to meet project deadlines.
- Support other heavy equipment operations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and environmental standards.
- Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating dump trucks in construction or paving environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment.
- Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections.
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy vehicle operation.
- Physical ability to handle the demands of the job.
- Prior experience with asphalt or construction materials is a plus.
