Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, skilled and safety-conscious experienced Climbing Arborist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, pruning, and removal of large and small trees using climbing techniques and specialized equipment. This is only a position for a person who is already an experienced Arborist.
The Climbing Arborist will work often at significant heights, performing not only complex tree care such as pruning and removals but also everyday small pruning and removals with precision and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Safely climb and work at various heights using ropes, harnesses, and climbing gear to perform tree pruning, removal, and maintenance.
Utilize rigging techniques to safely lower large branches or sections during tree removal or pruning projects.
Follow all safety protocols and industry standards to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for team members and clients.
Assist in site cleanup after project completion, ensuring all debris is properly disposed of or recycled.
Proficiency in rigging techniques for safe tree removal and branch lowering.
Strong understanding tree identification, health and disease identification
Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and work at heights for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
Experience:
- tree climbing: 2 years (preferred)
- arborist: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- Driver's license with clean abstract (preferred)
