Sales Leads Manager — Showhome Furniture Victoria

Showhome Furniture Victoria is looking for an experienced, driven, and highly organized Sales Leads Manager to take ownership of our customer sales process—from the initial conversation through ordering and delivery.
We are a growing, locally owned furniture store specializing in quality furniture and personalized service. This is a key leadership position for someone who is confident in sales, excellent with customers, and capable of managing important operational details independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and help them select furniture that fits their homes, needs, and budgets
- Follow up consistently with new and existing sales leads
- Prepare professional quotes and close sales
- Maintain detailed customer and order records
- Place accurate orders with our furniture suppliers
- Confirm pricing, products, fabrics, configurations, and expected arrival dates
- Track orders from the supplier through production and shipping
- Coordinate incoming orders with our warehouse and delivery partners
- Keep customers informed throughout the entire process
- Resolve order issues professionally and proactively
- Help improve our sales, ordering, and customer-service systems
- Take ownership of day-to-day operations when the owners are unavailable
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is intelligent, polished, dependable, and comfortable taking responsibility. You should be able to manage multiple customers and orders without allowing important details to be missed.
Furniture or interior-design sales experience is strongly preferred. Experience with retail management, supplier purchasing, logistics, or order coordination would also be valuable.
You should have:
- Strong sales and relationship-building abilities
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational and follow-up habits
- Confidence working independently and making decisions
- The ability to learn furniture products, fabrics, configurations, and pricing
- Experience using point-of-sale, quoting, or order-management software
- A professional and positive attitude
- A genuine interest in furniture, design, and helping customers create beautiful homes
