This role is ideal for a certified Infant Toddler Educator who is passionate about early childhood development and values creating meaningful learning experiences through play.
As an Infant Toddler Educator, you will deliver high-quality early learning experiences:
- Plan, implement, lead, and evaluate curriculum aligned with YMCA Playing to Learn™
- Develop programs based on children’s interests using observation and emergent curriculum principles
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and families to support developmentally appropriate programming
- Actively engage with children while coordinating the needs of staff, children, and families
- Build strong relationships with families through daily communication and quality service
- Maintain licensing and safety standards in all program settings and outings
- Implement behaviour support plans using a child-centered approach
- Participate in and promote YMCA philanthropy and community initiatives
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate with Infant Toddler Certification (required)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Enthusiasm, energy, and a passion for working with young children
- Valid First Aid Certificate with CPR Level B or C

Additional Requirements
- Provide three professional references
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search (within 6 months of start date)
