Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a passion for cleanliness, and experience in food service environments. Previous restaurant, hotel, or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required. Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen cleaning tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
- Support food service staff by providing clean dishes for service and clearing used items from tables or stations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
- Adhere to all sanitation policies and procedures to uphold health regulations
- Assist in other kitchen duties such as restocking supplies or assisting with food prep during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning, food handling, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of kitchen safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if required
- Experience in hospitality, food service, or hotel settings is advantageous but not essential
