The Georgian Bay Club, located minutes west of Collingwood in the heart of Ontario’s finest four-season destination area, is widely known as one of golf’s most desirable and picturesque private clubs and was recognized as the Best New Private Course in Canada in 2005.
We have a 15 month contract opening for an experienced Director, Administration. This contract position may lead to full-time permanent employment.
You are an experienced accounting and administration generalist. You may be enrolled in an accredited accounting program or have completed such a program. You are highly motivated, are passionate about everything you do, have a reputation for meeting deadlines, and are a forward thinker. You thrive on hard work in a team setting, appreciate the rewards that come with a job well done, and build positive relationships with everyone you meet. You are inquisitive, analytical, and have proven hands-on experience in all aspects of general accounting, accounts payable, project accounting, health and safety committee experience, and more. You are the consummate team player in a small office environment with excellent written and interpersonal skills and have a proven track record as a positive influence on all those around you. You have excellent and proven skills with Word, Excel spreadsheets, POS systems, multi-terminal networks, and ideally Jonas accounting software. Previous experience in a private Club environment is an asset but not required.
This key position can work irregular hours and some weekends during the golf season.
