Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any questions or concerns with enthusiasm.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, to process transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation meet company guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for register balances.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Support kitchen operations during busy periods by managing time effectively to ensure timely food delivery and customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with food preparation and customer interactions.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for cash handling, order totals, and change accuracy.
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service with a positive attitude and clear communication skills.
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus, along with familiarity with serving procedures and upselling techniques.
