LOCATION: This position is based in Manitoba (Altona/Winnipeg)
SCHEDULE: Full-Time
REPORTS TO: Manager, Billing
DIRECT REPORTS: N/A
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for handling insured/broker account receivables, inquiries and concerns on various billing payments, NSFs, and collections at a policy level while ensuring a high level of customer service to our broker network.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
- Manage incoming phone calls from insureds and brokers
- Provide a high level of customer service when dealing with customer or broker inquiries regarding account statuses
- Various processing tasks (policy payments, updating banking information, etc.)
- Managing overdue accounts
- Closely work alongside the other Billing Representatives
- Various other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years’ experience in the Customer Service field
- Post-Secondary education in a related field is considered an asset
- Customer service orientated
- Excellent decision-making skills
- Proven teamwork and collaboration skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proven conflict management and resolution skills
- Ability to organize and manage information with strong attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Program Suite
