Posting: 2027-098 Temporary Program Implementation Coach (1.0 FTE) CEC
Duties to commence August 31, 2026 and end on/or about June 30, 2027 (or earlier if incumbent returns or circumstances change).
The Program Implementation Coach is a specialized role within the Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board (BGCDSB) focused on improving student well-being, achievement, and indepedence. The core function of this position is to build staff capacity through collaboration, consultation, and informing, modeling, and coaching school teams (including Educational Assistants) in evidence-based strategies, such as Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), communication, and prompting/fading techniques, to support stuents with diverse needs. The Coach ensures fidelity to behaviour plans by providing in-action coaching and feedback. This is strictly a capacity-building and system-support role; the Coach does not carry a caseload for direct, frontline student intervention. This role requires mandatory daily travel and service delivery to all BGCDSB sites.
Qualifications
Education

Post-Secondary diploma (Child and Youth Worker, Social Service Worker, Developmental Services Worker, Human Services Worker, Educational Assistant or equivalent related field). AND

Post-secondary certificate/certification in Autism and Behavioural Sciences or Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) course (completed or in progress) or Equivalent behavioural ceritifcation or training.
Experience and Knowledge

Minimum 5 years of experience in special education or a related field, preferably in a school setting.

Proven experience supporting studeents with diverse special education needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities, and externalized/dysregulated behaviours.

Strong practical expertise i Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).

Extensive knowledge of evidence-based practices for promoting student independence.
