We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Field Safety Advisor to champion safety excellence. In this vital role, you will lead safety initiatives, conduct thorough risk assessments, and foster a culture of safety awareness among all team members. Your expertise will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while promoting a safe working environment that empowers employees to perform at their best. Skills you Bring:
- Showcase the company safety program on projects by promoting a positive safety culture and safe work practices
- Responsible for the daily administration and management of the site HSE program
- Assist in development and implementation of Site Emergency Response Plan
- Establish and maintain positive project client-contractor safety relations
- Post and maintain HSE bulletins, posters, rules, and regulations
- Verify employee training and maintain employee training matrix
- Schedule / facilitate training and orientations
- Verify subcontractor safety qualifications
- Facilitate safety meetings
- Perform site inspections
- Oversee site observation program
- Perform task observations and provide coaching as needed
- Assist supervision regarding safety requirements during task planning
- Assist with development of safe work procedures and hazard assessments
- Act as a resource for all safety-related inquires
- Review/auditing and filing of safety documentation
- Compile and submit project stats
- Participate in / lead investigations into near misses and incidents
Requirements:
- NCSO
- Common Safety Orientation
- H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid
- Clean Drug and Alcohol test
- Class 5 license (No GDL) and Drivers Abstract
