Employment Requirements
· Residing in Alberta
· Valid driver’s license and acceptable abstract – client / vendor site visits required (project dependent)
· Legally entitled to work in Canada (must maintain a valid CDN Social Insurance Number for duration of employment)
Primary Role Responsibilities
- Focus will be on design build HVAC for primarily industrial Clients. This will include heating, ventilation, and air conditioning analysis through a variety of methods such as block load, computational fluid dynamics, and energy modelling
- Will work under the direct supervision of a professional engineer;
- Assist intermediate and senior level engineers.
- Work under knowledge of codes and regulatory obligations to ensure requirements are incorporated into designs.
- Prepare reports, calculations, data sheets, and other deliverables per established criteria.
- Review discipline drawings for compliance with project objectives, client requirements, ITS procedures, and industry standards.
- Compile attachments for material requisition (MR) and construction work package (CWP).
- Respond to technical questions or concerns with design implementation support.
- May provide guidance to technologists / designers or other non-professional roles.
Work Experience & Education
· 0-4 years’ experience with focus on HVAC design
· B. Sc Mechanical from a recognized post-secondary technology institution
· Registration with APEGA preferred.

· Full-time – flexible work schedule
