The Arbutus Inn is looking for a housekeeping supervisor to assist the housekeeping manger in the day to day running of the housekeeping department. Approximate 35 hours a week. You will need to be available to work weekdays and weekend. The job will include cleaning hotel rooms, hallways and hotel lobby. The wage is $23.50 per hour.
You will need to learn how to clean the rooms/hotel lobby to the standards of the hotel.
You will help with laundry and getting rooms cleaned and ready for the guests arriving that day. Help with paperwork in the morning to get the day organized and work with the hotel front desk to organize rooms that need to be cleaned.
Ensure health and safety procedures are followed; help provide ongoing training to new staff and doing frequent room checks to make sure rooms are cleaned properly.
