About the Role
We're looking for a friendly, organized person to be the first face our customers see when they walk through the door. You'll split your time between keeping our front office running smoothly and helping customers in our retail showroom find the right products for their needs. No hard sell — just good conversation and genuine helpfulness.
What You'll Be Doing
- Greeting customers and visitors and making them feel welcome
- Answering phones, directing calls, and responding to general inquiries
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, and correspondence
- Keeping the front desk and showroom area tidy and organized
- Helping customers in the showroom understand our product line and making recommendations
- Processing sales transactions and following up on quotes or orders
- Supporting the team with administrative tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- Fluent English — written and spoken — is a must
- You're a natural organizer: nothing slips through the cracks on your watch
- Warm, professional manner with customers and colleagues
- Furniture, design, or experience with crafting is a must
- Previous reception or sales experience is a definite asset, but not required — we're happy to train the right person
