We are looking for a capable and self-motivated Marketing Associate to join our Marketing team. This individual will be working out of our West Edmonton location as part of a team on a variety of internal & external marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will be a team player with a creative mind and a strong work ethic. Primary Responsibilities:
- Work as a team to complete and implement a variety of company marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with our IT department to maintain online marketing initiatives
- Utilize Google Analytics for SEO data analysis and make specific recommendations for keyword improvements
- Work with our Product Information Management (PIM) system to enhance our digital content
- Customize targeted ad campaigns using various digital platforms
- Work closely with our Printing & Publishing department to create promotional material
- Maintain showroom displays
- Complete various administrative duties as required
- Collaborate with Purchasing department to create purchasing/marketing opportunities
- Communicate with suppliers
Qualifications:
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work on multiple projects while completing them within defined deadlines
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications
- Self-motivated
- Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to professionally represent Gregg Distributors both in person and over the phone (polite / courteous / well spoken)
Background in marketing is considered a definite asset, along with an aptitude for working with numbers.
