- Collaborate regularly with the Indigenous Office Senior Specialists to align regional outreach with national efforts in Learning & Development, Communications, and Procurement
Facilitate community gatherings, as needed, on behalf of CBC, in collaboration with the Senior Director of the National Indigenous Strategy for CBC Guide and support the creation of content that is relevant to members of Indigenous communities and - in collaboration with the community - help expand the range of voices and perspectives in our programming.
- Focus on engaging with Indigenous youth, fostering their interest in pursuing careers in the media.
- Share your knowledge of Indigenous issues and perspectives with the leadership team.
- Establish and grow relationships between CBC and Indigenous people across the region
- Mentor and support Indigenous staff working at CBC in Atlantic Canada and Quebec
