Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join Sushi Jet Fredericton team! As a Server, you will be the friendly face that creates memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties, while balancing registers at shift end
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and food safety protocols to assist guests effectively
- Ensure all food handling and sanitation standards are strictly followed to promote guest safety and comply with health regulations
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude that fosters guest loyalty
