Milani Plumbing Heating and A/C is largest HVAC service company in BC. We currently are seeking a HVAC apprentice. This is a paid apprentice position.
Our company’s customer base is continuing to grow and expand and we are experiencing an increase in service calls for residential HVAC service. We have several positions available immediately to meet the increasing demand for our loyal customers. We are looking for outgoing and dependable individuals to help meet the needs of our customers. We are looking to fill this position immediately.
Job Duties:
You must have experience or be interested in some or all of the following:
- Installing or servicing residential air conditioners, furnaces, boilers, ductless, tankless, or water heaters
- Diagnosing units and troubleshooting as needed
- Assisting with service calls - troubleshooting, repairing, error codes, diagnosing, ordering parts, or fixing on-site
- Reviewing refrigeration and charging A/C units
- Communicating with customers on service requests, providing a high level of customer service at all times
Education, Experience, and Language:
· 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
· Must be functional in English.
Skills Requirements:
· Ability to work on-call as required.
· Ability to work under pressure and in all weather conditions
· Ability to offer extended services to our customers
· Heavy lifting may be required at times.
· Excellent communication skills are required as well as the ability to troubleshoot on plumbing.
· Clean, safe driving record.
· Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
· High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections.
· Be bondable
