Optician or Optometric Assistant
A little bit about who we are:
We are an optometry practice in Vaughan Ontario. We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join us in as an additional team member in the optical and contact lens departments. We require someone who would enjoy being cross-trained between the specialty contact lens department and optical. We would require you to sell glasses and ophthalmic lenses, learn the details on myopia control glasses, and support the contact lens department.
Your day-to-day is:
Closely working with the doctors and the team to help regain visual function.
Providing customer service that is above and beyond.
Administration and general retail duties.
You are:
Someone who puts customer service above everything else. You possess amazing communication skills, and act with compassion and warmth.
You are able to work one evening/week and Saturdays.
You enjoy a busy and challenging work environment where everyday is a bit different.
You are a team player.
You are a good problem solver.
Qualifications:
Optical or optometry experience
You have some experience with contact lenses
You are comfortable with computers
You are very organized
You enjoy communicating with patients

Compensation: $23.00 to $35.00 depending on previous experience and qualifications
